In August 1998, we opened this new branch in the former Newboro municipal building. The stone “court house” is one of the oldest buildings in Rideau Lakes Township dating back to 1850.

Over the years, it has served as the location for the Newboro school, the local courthouse, municipal hall and even a jailhouse.


With its large windows and high ceilings, this library is a spacious and welcoming facility.
