Membership Policy
Membership is free! Library cards are available to both permanent residents and cottagers of Rideau Lakes. Children 14 and under require parental consent before being assigned a library card. We ask that you present your card when you are checking out books.

Public Access Computer Policy
Please adhere to the following policy at all times:
  • Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult in order to use the Internet.
  • Internet users must be registered and preferably book ahead to use the computers, particularly in the summer.
  • No downloads or changes are to be made to our public access computers.
  • The use of chat lines is strictly forbidden.
  • You may use memory sticks but please ask the staff to scan the stick for viruses first.
  • We charge $.20 a page for printing.

  • Remember that this is a public access computer and so nothing will be stored on it when you leave the library.
