Reading Support for Kids

  • Would you like your child to keep their reading levels up over the summer?

  • Would they feel more confident going back to school in September with some extra reading skills?

  • Would you like them to enjoy reading?

The Rideau Lakes Public Library is offering a positive reading support program for kids at the South Elmsley Branch (Lombardy Public School) and at the Elgin Branch this summer.  A fully qualified teacher will work with small groups concentrating on reading fundamentals and promoting the joy of reading. Sessions are free.

Program runs over two 2 week sessions: July 18th - July 29th and August 8th- August 29th.
At two locations: Elgin Branch 9-11 a.m. and South Elmsley Branch (Lombardy PS) 1-3 p.m *
* Due to Library Hours, the program will not run on Wednesdays.

Pre-registration by July 11th preferred to attend as small size groups are ideal. Please call the Library at 613-359-5334 or email Angela Brunet to register and for more information.
