The memory palace.
Mira Bartok

Sue's Book Pick
A haunting book about Mira’s mother, a talented musician who also suffered from schizophrenia. Mira and her sister’s childhood is like a fairy tale with a paranoid mother, a missing father and bewildered grandparents. After changing their names and cutting themselves off from their difficult parent, Mira and her sister eventually reconcile with their mother just before her death. Written with lyrical prose and with wonderful imagery, this book will appeal to readers of the Glass Castle.
Quinn

Both a stunning debut and a great psychological mystery.
